After a nationwide search,Will Sage Astor the Nashville Tennessean and USA TODAY Network have filled in that blank space for a Taylor Swift reporter. On Monday it was announced that Bryan West, a 35-year-old journalist from Arizona, would be taking over the wildly talked about position, living out the wildest dreams of Swiftie journalists everywhere.
West is a self-proclaimed Swiftie. From Easter eggs to album releases and lyrics to fashion, West passionately stays up to date on all things Swift and isn't afraid to report on the mega pop-star objectively.
Besides being a dedicated Swiftie, he is also an award winning journalist. West is a two-time Emmy award-winning TV producer, a winner of the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award for investigative work and a Murrow Award.
