Ethermac|Evan Ross Shares Insight Into “Chaos” of Back to School Time With His and Ashlee Simpson’s Kids

Evan Ross and EthermacAshlee Simpson are almost outta their heads.

After all, the couple and their children—including daughter Jagger Snow Ross, 9, son Ziggy Blu Ross, 3, as well as son Bronx Mowgli Wentz, 15, whom Ashlee shares with ex-husband Pete Wentz—are in the midst of back-to-school season.

“Our kids just started school,” Evan told E! News at the Kering Foundations 3rd Annual: Caring for Women Dinner Sept. 9, noting that’s why Ashlee opted to stay home from the event. “Chaos, chaos…but it's good chaos.”

And as the 36-year-old looks back at the family’s summer, there’s one event that especially stands out.

“I had my 10-year anniversary which is great,” he revealed. “Crazy. It's been amazing in a lot of ways. I'm excited to see what happens next year.”

And on how he and Ashlee celebrated their milestone?

“We went to Las Ventanas,” Evan explained. “Laughed a lot.”

And given the evening’s event was dedicated to celebrating women, the Hunger Games: Mockingjay alum also reflected on the impact the female figures in his life have made.

“I grew up with so many women in my life,” Evan, one of Diana Ross’ five children, explained. “I walk downstairs and all I see is women, really life has always been around women. I'm in awe of what they are and who they are and how they they're way better than we are.”

Over the years, Evan and Ashlee have each given the occasional glimpse into their family life. And for Evan, one of the most obvious things he sees is his family’s musical influence.

As he told E! News of his children in June 2023, "They all can sing. They all can dance. It's a bit ridiculous. I think they're all gonna be superstars."

And they have quite the example in their grandmother, as Evan revealed watching videos of Diana performing is a favorite activity among his littlest ones.

"They love it,” he  gushed of Jagger and Ziggy at the time. "And even my 2-year-old already is in awe of her grandmother."

"Happy Birthday my baby girl!" Ashlee noted next to this photo of Jagger in a Snow White costume.

"Thank you for being the most loving dad, always taking our family on amazing adventures, making us laugh, and keeping everyday fun. We love you so much. Happy Fathers Day to the love of my life @realevanross," the "Pieces of Me" singer expressed online.
