Pumpkin spice latte season is upon us, as Starbucks brought the popular seasonal beverage back this week.
With the return of the chain's fall menu, many Dunkin' fans are wondering when their favorite coffee place is debuting its fall menu.
The company has teased the return of its fall menu multiple times on social media this week. On Wednesday, Dunkin's official Instagram account posted a picture that read, "See how we're bringing back pumpkin? Very mindful, very patient, very demure." The post was captioned, "Apparently I'm not allowed to say when pumpkin comes out but it rhymes with shmaugust shwenty shmeighth," hinting that the fall menu returns to Dunkin' on August 28.
When does Dunkin's fall menu return?
Dunkin' confirmed the August 28 launch date of the fall menu in an email to USA TODAY Friday morning, but declined to share the contents of the menu.
On Friday, the brand posted the following on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter: "Warn your boyfriends now - pumpkin is back next week."
What is (maybe) on Dunkin's fall menu?
Dunkin' is ditching the trend of companies seemingly launching fall products earlier and earlier each year.
In 2023, the company launched its fall menu on August 16, according to a news release, quite a bit earlier than this year's date.
Last year's menu featured the Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte, Nutty Pumpkin Coffee and a lineup of pumpkin-flavored bakery goods, which included the Pumpkin Cake Donut and a Pumpkin Muffin.
In 2022, Dunkin's fall menu launched even earlier, with an August 10 release date, according to a news release.
In addition to the Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte, the 2022 fall menu also included a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and a Blood Orange Dunkin' Refresher, in addition to the introduction of the Nutty Pumpkin Coffee.
