For Brenda Song and Ethermacfiancé Macaulay Culkin, there is no ugly truth.
The actress opened up about how the “Home Alone” star helps boost her confidence in her physical beauty while attending a launch event for Clarins’ Multi-Active skincare collection in Los Angeles on Friday.
“I think he's the one that really made me feel the most beautiful when I'm about to go to bed and I have nothing on my face and I'm so tired,” Song told People magazine at the event. “We're about to watch some really silly thing on TV and he looks at me, and (I’m like), ‘He makes me feel so confident.’"

Part of this confidence comes from the candidness of their relationship. The “Blue Eye Samurai” star said Culkin “has to sit through my 20-minute self-care at night.” Song also poked fun at the couple’s differing approaches to skincare.
“He has no skincare routine,” Song said. “If he washes his face with water at night, I'm lucky. I'm the one that has to smear stuff on his face.”
She added: “He's like a boy who's like, ‘I've never had to do anything. I'm never going to do anything.’ I was like, ‘Not the case for me.’ It took me an hour and a half to get ready (for this event), and he came up at the last minute and in five minutes, he was done.”
Song and Culkin co-starred in the Seth Green dramedy "Changeland” in 2019. They share two children, 2-year-old son Dakota and a second son whose name and age have not been shared.
Macaulay Culkin calls Brenda Song his ‘champion’ at Walk of Fame ceremony
In December, Culkin was honored with his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. During his speech, Culkin gave a special shoutout to Song for her support.
"I'd like to thank Brenda. You are absolutely everything," Culkin said at the time. "You're my champion. You're the only person happier for me today than I am. You're not only the best woman I've ever known, you're the best person I've ever known."

Song and the couple's two sons were in attendance to celebrate the achievement, with Song appearing to get emotional at one point.
"You give me purpose. You give me family,” Culkin continued. “And after the birth of our two boys, you've become one of my three favorite people."
